Nos. 772A and 772B Collectors

Handling Features

• The No. 772 units are lightweight (approximately 1 1/2 pounds or .7kg)
• Simple design – they can be handled easily and used in a fixed or portable position
• Rugged, sealed construction allows use in shop floor environments
• Furnished with a neck strap which leaves the operator's hands free

Gaging Capability

• The No. 772A collector has four input sources, which are two gage ports, the ability to enter information manually through the keypad, and input from external sources through an RS232C serial port
• The No. 772B collector has ten input sources, which are eight gage ports, the ability to enter information manually through the keypad, and input from external sources through an RS232 serial port
• The gage ports will handle modules for Starrett SPC Plus® tools and also tools from other suppliers in any combination
• The Starrett exclusive ability to use the standard cables of all major suppliers when using tools other than Starrett

Collector Systems

• Variable and attribute analysis and charting is programmable through the use of optional program cards
• Large memory and the capacity to store weeks or even months of data
• Complete alphanumeric description of parts
• Credit-card-sized P.C.M.C.I.A. memory cards simply slip in and out of the unit
• Each memory card stores readings for future analysis

• System is portable & runs on line power & replaceable & rechargeable battery packs. Built-in "smart charger" eliminates overcharge problems
• Programmable automatic trigger for port selections & to activate the tool. This can be one port per trigger or ports in sequence
• Automatic or manual footswitch triggering
• Automatic trigger timer for readings from one or more ports, with user-set intervals from one second to 99 hours
• User definable tags give ability to note & record up to 10 categories of unusual or different data
• Math program allows use of +/- offsets & multipliers for scaling, zero offsets, etc.
