Starrett - Height Gages

This is one of the fastest and most reliable height gages for its range (24") and accuracy (within .001" at any location).

Readability Features

• Read the clear, properly sized counter for inches and tenths of an inch (Eg. 4.2")
• Next read directly to .001" on the dial, which has 100 sharp, clear graduations
• Ability to reset the measurements to zero at any point on the dial
• Reset can be for the up or down direction as desired
• The scriber and base are designed so that the tool will read directly from zero (the bottom of the base)

Ease-of-Handling Features

• Quick adjustment with a large speeder-type knob on the base
• A convenient, fine adjusting knob on the top of the bar for ease of positioning
• Slide lock to hold the measurement and increase stability for scribing
• Hardened, ground, and lapped vibration-proof base with finger grooves for ease of movement
• Rugged and well balanced – the vertical bar is positioned near the center of the base (not at its edge) for stability
