Starrett Can Seam Micrometers are made of stainless steel and designed to measure the thickness and depth of can seams. NOTE: Depth range on 208D is .200". Depth range on 208MD is 5 mm.

The No. 207 Series is used to measure the seam at the outside bottom edge of the dome on the top of an aerosol can.

The No. 208 Series is used to measure the thickness of the seam at the top and bottom of a flat-topped can.

The No. 208D Series is used to measure thickness and depth of all standard can seams.
